As I grow up…

I’ve learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is stalk them and pray that she panics and gives in

I’ve learned that no matter how much I care, some people in this world are just plain arseholes. No matter how you try to help them, they will still be arseholes.

I’ve learned that it takes many years to build up trust from someone, and it only takes suspicion, not solid proof, to destroy it.

I’ve learned that you can get by on charm for about 15 minutes. After that, you’d better have a big willy or a lot of money.

I’ve learned that you shouldn’t compare yourself to other people – they are more screwed up that you think.

I’ve learned that we are responsible for whatever we do, unless we have a rich set of parents.

I’ve learned that regardless of how hot or rosy a relationship is at first, the passion eventually fades, and there had better be a lot of money or a prospecting career to take its place! They call it – Security. If you don’t, they will call it – Fundamental Differences – and ask for a break up immediately after that.

I’ve learned that the main reason why you buy expensive gifts for your girlfriend or boyfriend is not for them to see. It’s for their friends and peers to see how generous (and rich) you happen to be, and they will go on and demand the same with their other half.

I’ve learned that 99.9% of the time when something has gone wrong in your house, it’s either your brother or your sister who did it.

I’ve learned that being the eldest in the family is synonymous with the word “sacrifice”.

I’ve learned that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon and all the less important ones just won’t go away.

I’ve learned that life is, in fact, a cycle of sufferings after sufferings, and since you’re going to be suffering anyway, might as well just take that as an enjoyment. That way you’ll lead a happier life.

So that’s some 2 cents of what I’ve acknowledged and learned while growing up.
