Migration to WordPress

On November 24, 2008, in Announcements, by jonathanfun

Welcome to the new jonathanfun.com version 2.0, all thanks to WordPress.

And thanks Hillary and Joseph for the recommendation. So far WP has really rocked for me.

I decided to give WP a try when I’ve started encountering glitches and problems with iWeb, the program that I’ve been always using to blog. Apparently, pages created by iWeb are quite heavy, and takes a long time to upload if you’re not using their Mobile Me services at www.me.com. Plus, without using Mobile Me, functions like hit counter and comments won’t freaking work! Sigh.

Front Page

But with WP now, I can post and upload instantly with a few clicks, and I don’t need to install 3rd party widgets to allow comments to be posted!

Let’s hope Steve Jobs can release a better (and more generous) version of iWeb in near future and not to have so many restrictions. I mean, c’mon Steve, your company is already growing faster than the industry average now. Couldn’t you at least, make iWeb more user friendly for people like us who wish to have our own servers and domains?

I shall need to spend some time to migrate all my present entries to this side of the world, so guys, please bear with me for a while :-)

Cheers.

Haha. Thanks for the credits bro. But I still think that your template needs more tweaking. Since I’m browsing your site through in my office. The pictures still loads quite slow. Other than that, it’s cool!

    Happy Blogging! ^.^
