Poppy Talk Boutique is one of the more unique boutiques in Malacca, located just next to The Pro Bistro and diagonally opposite to The Red Square Karaoke along Jalan Melaka Raya 15, Malacca, Malaysia.

As you enter the store you will be greeted by a very homely, cozy environment, run by a very friendly and helpful consultant, who also happens to be the owner of this boutique.

With a mission to make every women beautiful, one will be happy to know that this boutique boasts a potpourri of chic, fashionable women’s clothing as well as accessories, all sourced and imported by the owner herself from leading fashion cities across Asia.

This gorgeous owner is also a master of hand-made novelties, creating most of her accessories (even table lamps) by hand.

Her sister is also one of the most prominent artist in Malacca, which means, you will also be able to get authentic painted footwear. Gone are the days where you meet a friend on the street and say “Hey, why you and me wear the same shoe one ah?!” and both end up with red cheeks and shy expressions.

You can also buy Poppy related art there too, also sketched and drawn by her sister.

One thing you must check out when you visit this store is their miniature cakes and tarts, SO CUTE to see and SO SOFT to touch. Like Elmo from the Sesame Street.

Another favorite item of mine is what I call the “Poppy Hair Band”. Unlike those hair bands you see in Evita Peroni (those are boring), this hand band is adorned with a VERY LARGE poppy flower, sure to make you stunning (and even high).

Not to mention, of course, that all these items are personally hand-made by the owner herself.

If you’re looking for something rare or vintage, do also check out their 2nd Hand Corner, with items sourced from some customers themselves. If you have something nice you can’t wear anymore but would like to sell it, feel free to speak to the owner too.
