According to safecarguide.com, “Each year nearly 5,000 Americans die in truck crashes… And in 1995, 98% of these people killed in two-vehicle crashes involving trucks and passenger cars are people in the passenger vehicles.” 

Meaning to say, unless you’re driving a truck, if you collide with a truck, then you’re most likely going to be squashed like a duck (I like nursery rhymes).

I had a very close cousin of mine who also died in a road accident a couple of years ago. He was fetching his friend back on his Honda EX5 when a trailer ran over him and his friend. His friend died on the spot while my poor cousin died on the way to the hospital.

He could have been 23 years old this year. Sigh.

But anyway, as I was browsing through Metacafe the other day I came across one crazy video about a south american guy who was literally – Crushed – by a truck. Not on four wheels mind you. The truck lost control, overturned side ways and landed on this poor guy’s car.

Guess miracles do happen. I cannot imagine a person who is crushed under a fully loaded truck like this coming out from the wreckage without a scratch. 

Another proof that God exists in this world we live in and He’s looking after us all the time.
